Responsibility & Service:
Lee County employs over 400 individuals in various full-and part-time positions within the following departments:  County Commission Office, Highway Department, Probate Judge Office, Revenue Commissioner Office, Reappraisal, Solid Waste Department, Building Inspection, Emergency Management Agency, Building and Grounds Maintenance and Court Referral Office.  The Lee County Commission Human Resources Department also provides administrative support in the areas of payroll and employment for the Lee County Sheriff's Office .  

Functions:
Human Resources is responsible for coordinating and directing the administrative processes associated with the following functions with the Lee County Personnel Policies and Procedures adopted by the Lee County Commission:

  • Job Evaluation and Analysis
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration
  • Employee Performance Evaluation
  • Employment Records Management
  • Recruitment
  • Workers Compensation Administration
  • Employee Training and Development
